About Our Company
Ballet Del'Art is an international ballet company based in Antwerp, Belgium, founded with a profound mission: to support professional ballet dancers by supporting them to fully realize their artistic potential within a nurturing, respectful, and inclusive environment—one that actively safeguards their emotional and psychological well-being while eliminating all forms of discrimination.
The company stands as a true cultural sanctuary, devoted to the pursuit of excellence through rigorous education, refined technical training, continuous artistic development, and the creation of original classical ballet productions that honor tradition while embracing modern expression.
Established in response to the outbreak of the war in Ukraine in 2022, Ballet Del'Art was born from a need to respond to the fragility of the global artistic community. To this day artists all over the world continue to struggle; in survival mode of attempt to pursue their passion and career.
Ballet Del'Art continues to expand its vision through meaningful international collaborations, bringing together artists from around the world for new choreographic creations and transformative projects. Its purpose is to illuminate the stage with renewed artistic vision and emotional depth, offering inspiration not only to audiences, but also to the artists themselves.
Current original productions, classical ballet performances, and international tours include Swan Lake, A Night in Clara’s Dreams, and To Your Eternity, performed by internationally acclaimed ballet artists.
Our Story
Lara and Jimi Paraschiv are distinguished professional ballet artists whose careers have taken them to stages across the world, earning them international recognition through their artistry and dedication to the classical form. Their artistic journey began in Russia and continued to evolve through significant chapters in Ukraine, New York City, Romania, and across Europe, where they refined their craft and deepened their interpretative and technical mastery.
Over the years, they have performed on prestigious stages throughout England, China, Australia, the United States, Singapore, France, Italy, Switzerland, and the Netherlands, bringing their artistry to diverse audiences and cultural landscapes. Their professional development has also included the privilege of taking classes and rehearsing at the Royal Opera House in London, further enriching their artistic vocabulary and experience.
During this period of growth, Lara completed the Royal Ballet School’s Inspire Program, strengthening her foundation in classical ballet pedagogy and performance. She subsequently earned a Bachelor’s degree in Choreography from the Kiev Choreographic College, expanding her artistic perspective into creation and composition.
Today, their shared vision extends beyond performance. Lara and Jimi are devoted to passing on their expertise to the next generation, cultivating technically accomplished and artistically sensitive dancers. Above all, they are committed to creating meaningful opportunities for artists worldwide to pursue their passion for ballet—just as they have—while contributing to a living, evolving art form that continues to inspire on stages around the globe.
