Ballet Del'Art offers a unique program that is dedicated to aspiring professional dancers to not only train as a professional but also get the opportunity to perform on world stages with professional ballet dancers from our company. Our PTP and Trainee Program was created to help dancers of all ages to train as a professional under a nurturing and non-discriminative environment,.
Our moral ground stands to bring the artistic potential of individuals , by aiding them with the necessary skills, technique and understanding.
We prepare our dancers to be able to enter the professional world with ease by:
- Teaching them repertoire that is required by National Theatres worldwide
- Preparing them for the psychological, emotional and physical demands of the ballet industry.
- Aiding them with proper knowledge of injury prevention and recovery
TECHNICAL COMPETENCE
Our curriculum is based off of The Royal Ballet School with Vaganova methodology. Correct ballet placement and technique has only one form, which is abided by all methodologies irrespective of the stylistic preference. Our training program is led by professional ballet artists Lara and Jimi who have danced on stages world wide. The program consists of Royal Ballet School, Vaganova and Cecchetti methodology. The program aims to lead dancers to reach their true potential as artists without having to stress or worry about the technique. Our dancers will become confident and stable in their ballet technique so that when they perform on stage, all that is left is to dance from the soul. Our program is specially designed so that you will achieve the technical base and competence required for professional ballet meanwhile grow your confidence in order to expand artistically
EXPERIENCE
In addition to daily intensive training, we offer our dancers a full immersive experience in performing as professional dancers. They will not only train and rehearse alongside professionals but also perform on stage as one! Each season will consist of a minimum of 25 performances revolving around classical repertoire that is demanded by all professional ballet companies today. Being a dancer with Ballet Del’Art will give you opportunities in performances all around the world in classical works such as Swan Lake, Nutcracker, Giselle, Don Quixote and more. The dancers will also get upfront experience with professional choreographers and repetiteurs from renowned companies and theatres.
PROFESSIONAL PREPERATION
You will be psychologically, emotionally and physically prepared to handle the demands of the ballet industry. A well rounded dancer that has strength and awareness internally and externally is an asset to any ballet company. Becoming in tune with oneselfs' physical, emotional and psychological part can bring your artistic potential to it's fullest, This includes being thoroughly educated in injury prevention and recovery. Coping with adrenaline and anxiety when it comes to performing. Removing insecurities, stress and coping mechanisms in order to fully dive into the holistic artistic development.
